Kakihara is just so indescribably cool. There's not one aspect that makes him cool, but he's just generally...interesting and bizarre and so much better the crybaby Ichi. He's a guy who you just can't help liking. He is just...fun. He also makes some of the best scenes in the whole film in my opinion - or rather, the most amusing. -the hand biting scene, and who could forget the ridiculously funny tongue cutting scene? In that, he answers a phone call after cutting half his tongue off and yet still manages to take it, and the infamous phrase "If I keep talking, it'll get better." (or something)?
My favourite character by a long shot. I, for some reason, really didn't like Ichi at all.
My rant over, this is a really good picture. I like the red+black colour scheme which is highlighted by the wire details. And the fact that it's Kakihara. For both reasons, unfortunately I'm going to have to +fave it.
