I just found out one of Brazil's best comic artists (in my opinion) has a DeviantArt page. Be sure to check his work and remember to keep an eye on him:

Não sei se só isso valha, eu acho que é importante também ter talento, tem muita gente bem sucedida que é medíocre (o caso do Daniel não é esse!)

Talento nessa área me parece fundamental, talvez eu não conheça tanta gente quanto você mas tenho certeza que tem muita gente talentosa por aí ainda para ser descoberta.
